Securing your Session
Fee Schedule - 50% of the session fee is due to at the time that you schedule your session. The other 50% must be received on or before your session date.
Payments are received by cash, VenMo or PayPal.
To reschedule your session, please contact me 48 hours before your scheduled session. A no show for a photo sessions will result in the forfeit of the 50% of the session fee.
Rates are subject to change at any time. A travel fee will apply for sessions scheduled more than 15 miles from the zip code 95688.
Preparing for your session
Maternity Sessions are usually held when mama is about 7-8 months along. I have found that in that range the Mama's look ridiculously cute and confident in their skin. If you can have a friend do your hair and make up (or even splurge on some time in the salon) to make you feel the most comfortable in front of the camera. I can assist in wardrobe choices too!
Newborn sessions are typically held when baby is 7-10 days old. This session usually runs about 2 hours. It can get a little crazy with stops for diapers and feedings, through trial and error, I've found that getting all props (headbands, hats, etc) you are thinking of using, multiple outfits (accidents happen!) and lots of blankets, usually soft plush or thin blankets without a pattern photograph the best.
Couples and Family Sessions - We'll chat when you book about the style of session you are looking to achieve. I am happy to assist in clothing, accessory and prop choices.
Working with kids I love to capture the happiest faces possible. If they need a break, we'll take one. Please let me know if your kiddo has any dietary or allergy restrictions.... Sometimes, i need to bring little treats to help us get the perfect shot!
Clothing choices for your sessions . Finding something to wear that makes you look and feel your best can be a challenge. Picking out your outfit a few days ahead ensures that you have time to play with your choice and feel your best in front of the camera.
Building around your pickiest person (in my family it is me!!) is a quick way to get the ball rolling and giving the rest of the family direction narrowing down their choices.
